Microsurgery
Microsurgical procedures are performed under a microscope or with use of magnifying optical loupes and with microsurgery instruments. These procedures make it possible to operate at high magnification on small operating areas.
The resulting precision enables surgical procedures to be performed with minimal tissue invasion and results in better postoperative healing process of the wounds, less postoperative discomfort (such as swelling or pain), and the greater probability of the treatment’s positive outcome.
Range of treatments:
- Preparation of the implant bed,
- Tooth resection,
- Removal of inflammatory lesions from a macroscopically inaccessible area,
- Plastic surgery of soft tissue of gums,
- Tissue grafts for better esthetic results following prosthetic restoration on teeth or implants.
